The Story of Jake and his magic soda water

SODA VEN…. What are you retarded?
A lot of people ask me where did I get the ideas to do such a lame comic series based on stuff that no one really cares about, my answer

f***k you. It all kind of started when I met this funny kid name mike Cody, he taught me to love myself and that poop is hilarious. He drew
these weird Spanish comics about a roach and some little mouse I think it was called
“Frog and rat boy”. I though they were hilarious, so I blatantly copied them
(Hum and an about section). My take on “mouse and roach” wasn’t funny and infect it was minus funny, it was in the negative in terms of humor. I basically took his comic and photo copied it then rubbed dead fish on it. Mike got pissed so I stopped, then I drew a original comic called Jake-ass, it was about this green monster that killed or laughed at people, it was way too classy for me. So that was over. I needed to find my niche, which wasn’t in making a badass character it was a comic about something I can relate to (I was a nerd). Then I was befriended by this menacing guy named Luke Erickson, he was funny, he also had a hilarious drawing style, I learned a lot from that bully I ain’t sure what but hey who cares?

Flash forward a year later…

I was starting to become somewhat funny, so I shelled out 4 bucks and bought a sketch diary (screw you). I started sketching really crazy comics that had a relatable character named Seesay. He was really badly drawn and had goggles on 24-7. Mike told me they were funny, so I drew more, Lots more. Soon I had people eating hilarity out of my hand. I got a lot of support from my friends Mike, heath, Vanessa, Luke and a girl that really turned the tide on soda venture, Andrea. She some how thought I was a loveable guy, but she turned on me..

Weeks later….

Then I got a website courtesy of good ol’ Mike Cody. This really helped me hone my skills as a cartoonist. I soon churned out some really good stuff (compared to my old comics). I was really getting the hang of writing, drawing and creating comics. Then my best friend moved.
MIKE “ the lady lover” CODY. It was hard to write funny stuff without an influence. Now I have new influences and I appreciate all the support and hilarity.
